Terms & Conditions

General Terms:

• All works to be reduced to writing in a contract signed by both parties.
• A signed contract supersedes any written quotation.
• All instructions to be reduced to writing and signed by both parties, no verbal instructions will be carried out.
• All existing services to be pointed out by project staff and included in contract.
• We shall not take risk or responsibility for services not identified by client in writing – pre commencement.
• Any waterproofing requirements to existing structures are at additional costs.
• Payment terms are 70% deposit.
• Progress payments as required by TherraWood.
• Payment 100% for supply only.
• Completion of installation to be determined by TherraWood Southern Africa Quality inspector so as to produce the customer’s warranty certificate and ensure correctness of installation.
• Warranty will only be produced upon full and final payment.Warranties for design, supply and installation are held by TherraWood Southern Africa.
  • • 20 Years on decking boards 
    • 20 Years on H4 treated substructures 
    • 10 Years on waterproofing 
    • 5 Years on workmanship 
    • All above subject to bi yearly inspection by TherraWood SA
    • Installations to be kept clear of water laden areas 
• All works to be surveyed by TherraWood SA, client will be informed on a report to the nature of the correctness of the existing structure upon which our product will be placed.
• Once materials are delivered to site, the client assumes risk for the materials.
• Quotations are valid for 6 weeks and thereafter may be adjusted at TherraWood discretions.
• Our site teams require access to ablution facilities & 220v single phase power.
• We also require free and normal access to the working area unless allowed for in the quotation.
• TherraWood accept no liability for any claimed damages on site.
• Should you require a health and safety file on your project, an additional amount of R 5,000-00 must be added to the contract value.
• Price is subject to Rand Dollar exchange rates at TherraWood discretion. 
• Any access requirements (scaffolding etc) are excluded from our quotation and can be provided at an additional cost. 
• Refund Policy – Should you cancel an order with a paid deposit,  TherraWood South Africa shall withhold 50% of the deposit for costs incurred. 
• TherraWood reserves the right to use any marketing materials related to its projects. 
• No party may use any TherraWood products or materials in any form for any reason whatsoever without written consent from TherraWood SA.
